This is what people were talking about on one of the e-loops I subscribe to.
I love free content as much as the next person (in fact, I’m a major cheapskate), but I try not to steal content I have access to. I use YouTube to watch TV shows I can’t get here Down Under. I download book samples of authors unknown to me (if I can’t get them in the library) before deciding who to buy.
But offering so many books up for free?
Come on. it’s hard enough for most people in the industry to make a living. Do you really want to deny a few cents to the people who made this book happen in the first place (and it really is only a few cents each for the most part).
Add your voice to the masses. Fight back!
