Sorry. Really

Only ten more contest entries to judge. Mostly, it’s been one good, one bad for some reason, but the last three were, well, not quite there yet (translation: GAG!).
It’s easy if a story outright sucks, because there are usually some useful hints I feel like giving (commas are not optional, be consistent in your spelling, your hero is a buttwipe and your heroine needs a frontal lobotomy to be even remotely witty).
But it breaks my heart when the entry is just, well, meh.
There’s nothing *wrong* with the opening chapters, there’s just nmothing right with it either. What do you say to that? I still try my best to find something constructive to say other than You’re boring! Stop boring me!
