Gardening

Most people who enjoy food will at some stage become interested in its creation. I know quite a few foodie gardeners, or much more commonly, gardeners-in-theory.
Gardeners-in-theory, or GITs, are people that either lack the space, time, knowledge or a combination of these toa ctually grow their own food. Lots of them claim to not have green thumbs.

Yeah, you’ve guessed it, I’m a GIT.  once a year, the gardening mood strkies me as I look out at my tiny walled-in front yard and think “You know, I really ought to do something with that.”
But this year, I’m getting help! A friend from kung fu and fellow GIT is coming over to play in the dirt with me. Yay!

So in preparation, I bought some seedlings yesterday and soaked some seeds overnight. If things go well, we should be harvesting everything from lettuce to raspberries this growing season. And if things don’t go well… at least I’ll have weeded once a year!

Do you garden?

i’ve got the room, but i just don’t have the time unfortunately. Too much to fit in with the writing and the dayjob. Now if we could only get Robbie into the gardening (because he does the washing etc) so well, I’d be set.
